New brand identity for Ultimaker and Makerbot's corporate merge. Ultimaker is a leading force in the 3D printer market, making machines for industrial production while Makerbot focuses on education for their K-12 audience. When the two came together as UltiMaker they required a flexible identity system that lent itself to structure and reliability as well as inventiveness and play.

Film identity for Can We Pretend. Can We Pretend is a moody short film following a weekend out of town between two friends that learn their morals may not align as closely as they think. The designs for the film reflect the tension the characters experience and the weight of secrets uncovered and the truth revealed.

Logo, title cards, credits, and posters for Bury Me In Armor. Bury Me In Armor is a short film about secrets that are uncovered after the death of a father figure in a family with a long history of tragedy. The typography is stark and abrupt, reflecting the events in the film; the logo stacks to suggest the feeling of being buried.

Cover art for the launch of NYC techno label Regression Records’ mix series. The digital covers were placed on social and soundcloud, presenting a design opportunity for both static and motion versions. The six covers are meant to mesmerize, and in counterpoint to the label’s name, to give a feeling of regressing and forward movement.

Visual identity for FRUITCUP. FRUITCUP is an interior staging consulting service focused on bringing feelings of energy, empathy, and play into the spaces of their clients. To evoke a playful identity, FRUITCUP utilizes unexpected arrangements, energetic color combinations, and crisp interior photography.

Motion layouts played in between performances at Red Bull Music Academy’s showcase at Sonar Festival in Barcelona. Each of the 30 animations were unique to the performers in the showcase, inspired by their respective sound and energy.

Visual identity, web design, and motion graphics for the Womanikin. People with breasts are 27% less likely to receive bystander CPR than people without; The Womanikin is a training tool for teaching performance of CPR on women in cardiac arrest. The project intends to communicate a sense of seriousness, while remaining approachable with playful design elements.

Apparel, cover, and flier designs for dj and producer, Kilbourne. Kilbourne’s performances and releases focus on a dynamic balance of havoc and euphoria through pounding, undeniable hardcore techno. The work is always done in close collaboration, always fun, and always hardcore.
2017
Program design for the 25th annual Seattle Polish Film Festival. SPFF wanted a new look to their print program that both attracted new, younger audience while respecting the devoted Polish communities and audiences that have supported the festival over the years. The layouts were inspired by Polish poster design and reflected the somber tone of the festival's films. The layouts also utilize typography made by Polish designers to pay homage to the festival's context and history.
